Puma
Puma was a brand conceived of sibling rivalry, originally founded in 1948 by Rudolf Dassler. Dassler formerly co-owned Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory with his brother Adolf, the two had such bad blood that they split with Rudolf forming Puma and Adolf founding adidas. Most famously known for their groundbreaking innovative footwear developments for football and tennis, as well as early-day athlete co-signs. Puma’s mission for athlete success has remained true to its roots since day one, leading them to be the first sportswear shoe manufacturer to utilize the advanced vulcanization production technique that results in the bonding of the sole and the shaft of the shoe increasing performance and providing greater support.
